Emily Prophet

I was born in Pulaski, TN and spent my childhood in Gainesville, FL and Duxbury, MA until moving to Nashville for last 2 years of High School.
I attended Belmont University and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a major in Business Management.

After graduation from Belmont University, I attended Southeastern Paralegal Institute and studied all areas of law and found that Real Estate Law was most interesting and rewarding to me.

I began working as a Paralegal at a real estate law firm in Brentwood, TN which partnered with what became the first Realty Title.
I worked as a Paralegal/ Closing Agent at Perrone & Young, Attorneys in Brentwood, TN for 10 years before being asked to open an in-house title company in Green Hills for a real estate company.

Greenvue Title & Escrow became the in-house title company for Weichert Realtors, The Andrews Group in Green Hills/ Nashville TN. As the sole processor/closer/ title agent I closed between 20 and 50 transactions per month as the sole employee.

After my youngest son graduated from Belmont University I decided to take a leap of faith and go out on my own. I started my own company, Lionsgate Title & Escrow LLC, based in Fairview, TN in August of 2022. I named it after some antique lions gates on our farm in Lyles, TN. I have been successful in my venture and very proud. I am so excited to have SOUTHERN TITLE as its sister company and know it will be a huge sucesss.

I love to serve as the most essential liaison between realtors, buyers, sellers, and lenders to come together to achieve the biggest American dream of home ownership!

In my free time I enjoy hiking with my puppy, kayaking, riding the country roads around our farm on our Polaris, gardening, creek sitting, and doing any and all projects and things outdoors!
